For those who like peace and quiet the setting is ideal, with no other building in close proximity.
However, they are fairly close to Chania (7 kilometres) and Chania airport and therefore reaching them after your flight is very easy (in fact a member of the family will meet you there if you wish).
There is also a pretty little sandy, blue flag beach (Agios Anophris) within approx. 1 kilometre; close to the beach, there are two tavernas and also near at hand is the village of Kounoupidiana.
